knows this formula:

operation speed = FSB frequency x CPU multiplier
Users tweak their systems either by increasing FSB
frequency or CPU multiplier, which is usually locked
for the Pentium 4 CPU when purchased of the shelf, greatly
limiting your overclocking options.
Here's the good news for overclockers!! ASUS Motherboards
now offer the CPU Lock
Free feature, which allows you to adjust CPU
multiplier to 14x. The reduction of multiplier value
provides more flexibility for increasing external FSB
frequency to raise memory bus bandwidth.
The following example demonstrates the effectiveness
of CPU Lock Free. As the table indicates, CPU Lock Free
adjusted CPU multiplier from 18x to 14x, allowing the
system to operate with FSB frequency up to 258MHz(maximum
bandwidth 8.23GB/sec) and memory bandwidth up to 10.98GB/sec
while CPU operation speed remained at 3.6GHz.
CPU Lock Free boosts overall system performance by
making synchronous modification possible. Enjoy better
performance at the same CPU operation speed and improve
your system without pushing the CPU to the limit.
