S/PDIF out Interface (optional)
ASUS P4GE-VM provides convenient connectivity to external home theater audio systems via an S/PDIF-out (SONY-PHILIPS Digital Interface) module. It allows to transfer digital audio without converting to analog format and keeps the best signal quality. (Notes: S/PDIF module is seperately sold)

CrashFree BIOS
CrashFree BIOS allows users to restore BIOS data from a floppy diskette even when BIOS code and data are corrupted during upgrade or invaded by virus. ASUS has designed into this motherboard an AGP Warning LED. The AGP Warning LED automatically stops you from turning on your system with incompatible voltage AGP (3.3V) cards, and protects from permanently damaging your motherboard.
