AI Audio via 8-Channel CODEC
The ALC850 CODEC has eight channels of 16-Bit DAC, a
stereo 16-Bit ADC, and an AC97 2.3 compatible multi-channel
audio designed for PC multimedia systems. It also automatically
detects and identifies what types of peripherals are
plugged into the audio I/O jacks and notifies users
of inappropriate connection. No more confusion of Line-in,
Line-out and Mic jacks.
AI NET 
The AI Series supports Gigabit LAN by integrating the
Marvell 88E8001 controller, equipped with a unique net-diagnosing
utility-- VCT (Virtual Cable Tester). The controller
intelligently detects net connection status up to 100
meters from a remote location and reports the distance
of bad cable.

CrashFree BIOS 2~ 
Whenever BIOS gets corrupted, ASUS CrashFree BIOS 2
allows users to reboot the computer and perform an smart
auto-recovery procedure through the motherboard support
CD.
Q-Fan Technology
This unique technology intelligently and automatically
adjusts CPU fan speeds according to system load and
temperature, enabling users to work in a distraction-free
environment with minimal noise.

A voice warning design during POST notifies users of

AI Overclocking
The unique AI Overclocking Tuner in BIOS enables quick
overclocking up to 30% (depends on CPU and RAM). It automatically
detects and optimizes every relevant parameter to provide
both performance and stability.
The BIOS in AI Series also keeps all the special design
for overclocking:
-- Flexible CPU Core Voltage Adjustments in 0.025V increments
over defaults
-- SFS (Stepless Frequency Selection) up to 400MHz at
1MHz increanerts

Wi-Fi slot
The Wi-Fi
slot is specifically designed for the ASUS Wireless
LAN add-on card (ex. WiFi-b™) to set up an environment
for home Wireless LAN. The ASUS WiFi-b™ add-on card bundles
the exclusive Software AP (Access Point) to save the extra
cost of an hardware AP. In addition, the card comes with
user-friendly utilities and applications that allow quick
connection to notebooks, PDAs and other WLAN peripherals.
The Wi-Fi
slot supports the 802.11g standard for future upgrades.

Multi-RAID
The P4P800-E
Deluxe offers the most complete RAID solution. A Promise
RAID controller offers RAID 0, 1 and 0+1 functions with
Max. 2 UltraATA 133 ports and 2 SATA HD ports, enabling
users to build a RAID array with any 2, 3 or 4 of the
ports. With unique multi-RAID function, RAID 0 and RAID
1 array can co-exist.

S/PDIF-out on Back I/O Port
ASUS P4P800-E Deluxe provides convenient connectivity

or coaxial S/PDIF-out (SONY-PHILIPS Digital Interface)
jack. It allows to transfer digital audio without converting
to analog format and keeps the best signal quality.

ICH5R with Integrated SATA and RAID 0
