enhanced edition. The P4S800D-E Deluxe, based on the
SiS 655TX chipset, offers great performance and features
with 800MHz FSB, dual-channel DDR 400, Gigabit LAN,
AGP 8x, S/PDIF, SATA, IEEE 1394, USB 2.0 and a host
of innovations found only ASUS solutions.

SiS
HyperStreming™ Technology, it makes streams of chipset
data flow all over the paths, Efficiently, Concurrently,
Smoothly and Intelligently. Further more, SiS655TX Advanced
HyperStreaming™ Engine enhances the transfer rate on
the path from host block to memory controller block
to achieve the target that can improve whole system

Wi-Fi slot
The Wi-Fi
slot is specifically designed for the ASUS Wireless
LAN add-on card (ex. WiFi-b™) to set up an environment
for home Wireless LAN. The ASUS WiFi-b™ add-on card
bundles the exclusive Software AP (Access Point) to
save the extra cost of an hardware AP. In addition,
the card comes with user-friendly utilities and applications
that allow quick connection to notebooks, PDAs and
other WLAN peripherals. The Wi-Fi
slot supports the 802.11g standard for future
upgrades. (Note: The
WiFi-b™ card with software AP has to be purchased
separately)

AGP 8X technology
AGP8X (AGP 3.0) is the next generation VGA interface
specification that enables enhanced graphics performance
with high bandwidth speeds up to 2.12GB/s. With a
bus of 533MHz, AGP8X is twice as fast as AGP4X.
