    Additionally the card also runs silent in 2D mode and even if you're firing up a game, the noise levels are still tolerable. This is a big difference if you compare with the reference card model that vents heat out at obvious sound volumes. Had a situation once where I couldn't here a friend on Skype over the sound of my 580GTX reference venting out heat. So good job there ASUS. more
