Excellent balance between performance and price. ASUS with this card offers much more than the reference HD7870, while the price is just above the symbolic. Performance is on the level of Nvidia GTX580, and up to ten percent faster than the GTX570 and HD6970 and twenty percent faster than the HD7850. The card works stable, cool and faster than competitor versions, and for what we saw is worth the price difference of around forty euros.

The thing we liked the most is GX2.5 driver since it is compatible with all games written for EAX, and thus allows spatial sound effects with older titles. If we add to this excellent signal to noise ratio of up to 105 dB, then we can't find any flaw to the new Xonar. Not even for that price.
