With the ET2300 ASUS has quite consciously made a well-rounded, highly featured Windows 8 design. If you are looking for something relatively future proof then this is a very tempting offering, even if you do end up paying a premium for the fancy features. We really can't fault the design or aesthetics of the ET2300, and ASUS has delivered a hardware platform intrinsically tied to the best and worst of Windows 8. more

ASUS PB278Q is a solid addition to the 27" IPS market, and while many people will likely comment "Dell has been doing this for years", the point is obviously missed by them. ASUS including itself in this market and creating a monitor with such close competition to the brand new U2713 is only good for the consumer. With any hope the prices of enthusiast 27" monitors will drop, and if not at least there are numerous alternatives available to what was - for a long time - a one horse race.

At that $230 - $260 mark we've really got some great options when it comes to Z77 based motherboards. We'd tend to lean on the side that this is probably one of the best if not the best in that area. Especially when you consider we're closer to the $230 side of things than the $260 side, this motherboard is one to seriously consider. more
