      The GX-D1241 provides 10/100/1000 Mbps auto-sensing connectivity for Gigabit speed internet access; without the need of software for configuration—which makes installations easier and faster. The Asus Green Network features an embedded energy conservation through link down standby mode and cable length detection allowing users save up to 55% power consumption respectively. The fan-less design eliminates noise, which helps maintain a peaceful environment in the office; while its small in size, the great performance and rich features provide a cost-effective connection for small-to-medium enterprises and power users.

      Green Network Technology- Link down mode

      Link down mode & Cable length detection – power saving of up to 55%. Through Green Network feature, the GX-D1241 switches can detect when PCs is turned off and will respond accordingly by powering down into standby mode significantly reducing power consumption.

      Through Asus Green Network Technology (802.3az EEE), the switches are able to detect the cable's length and adjust the power consumption accordingly. Comparing wise, a 10m RJ45 cable lengths used will only need 15.9W of power consumption.
