      Enterprise Performance with SAS technology

      Based on latest PCI-E 3.0 interface, PIKE 2208 performance could achieve 33% higher data transferring rate than previous generation. Moreover, PIKE 2208 with 8 solid-state-drives (SSDs) could produce surpass 200,000 IOPS which 3 times than previous generation. In addition, with expander PIKE 2208 could support 32 physical disks that allow customer easily bring about 128TB large capacity storage with 4TB SATA HDD. Thus, PIKE 2208 is on demand for faster data transferring rate, great amount of data, and interoperability with the latest server platforms.

      Optional CacheVault for Reliable Data Protection

      The other latest technology is the CacheVault which applies NAND flash memory and a super capacitor. During normal write-back operation, when a power failure occurs, CacheVault technology automatically transfers cached data from the DRAM cache to flash and stored for up to 3 years. Once power is restored, the data in the NAND flash is copied back into cache until it can be flushed to the disk drives. PIKE 2208 together with CacheVault, virtually eliminate hardware maintenance associated with BBU(battery-back-up), lower total cost of ownership over the life of the RAID card, and provide more environmentally friendly cache protection, all while maintaining optimal RAID performance.
