To improve storage capacity, the RS924A-E6/RS8 supports SATA or SAS hard drives and offers users complete RAID compatibility (together with PIKE) for data protection. The optional ASUS PIKE SAS2 6Gb/s upgrade kit provides cost-effective storage interface upgradability and the flexibility of multiple storage options.
Real-time remote server management
To improve server manageability, users can choose the ASMB5-iKVM module, which provides real time web-based management and remote system control (KVM-over-IP) from any local computer.
