As well as Wi-Fi, PL-AC56 Kit also provides wired networking convenience, with three Gigabit Ethernet LAN ports on the remote Wi-Fi adapter that can be used to connect any wired networking device, such as games consoles, printers or TVs. This versatility makes PL-AC56 Kit perfect for connecting devices in out-of-the-way areas in homes and apartments, and is especially useful in multi-floor homes.

Quick, easy and secure setup

ASUS PL-AC56 Kit is designed for ultimate ease of use, and requires no complex installation. Users simply need to plug in the two adapters, then press the Pair button on each to establish a secure encrypted powerline network between them. The router adapter is connected to the router directly via the supplied network cable, and the Wi-Fi adapter can be plugged into any other power outlet.

To connect the Wi-Fi adapter to an existing wireless network, the user just needs to press the Clone button on the adapter and the WPS button on the router. Configuration is completely automatic and takes just a couple of minutes.
