Beauty industry provides better customer service, thanks to Bilei’s choice of ASUS All-in-One PCs
Beauty industry software specialist Bilei knew just what to do to help its clients improve customer service – it implemented its salon-management solution using ASUS All-in-One PCs.
The company believed that the slim dimensions and large touch-sensitive display of the ASUS All-in-One ET2012 would be the perfect fit for modern salon environments. It was proved right, as Bilei’s system development manager, Takao Ito, reveals: “The ASUS All-in-One ET2012 has allowed us to provide our beauty salon clients with better services at a lower price.”
The beauty industry faces particular challenges when it comes to implementing and using technology. Salons often have limited space and staff hands are constantly occupied – workers must juggle scissors, brushes, sprays, waxes, gels and make-up products all day long. In small beauty salons where man power is limited, staff might need to help customer checkout right after finishing their hair styling. This means they will need an easy-to-operate the machine even when their hands are not clean.
While touch-screen tills and checkouts aren’t new in salon environments, technology advances mean clients are demanding more – and Bilei is fulfilling those expectations by putting its specialist salon-management system onto ASUS All-in-One ET2012 PCs.
Bilei has been developing its point-of-sale (POS) and customer-management system for over 30 years. Called the Bilei Information Network Service, or BINS, it is a popular and trusted product in the Japanese beauty industry – so changes to the system are followed closely by Bilei’s loyal customers.
Thanks to ASUS All-in-One PCs, Bilei has made BINS even more attractive to its own customers, because the pairing improves services for their customers. Traditional touch-screen checkout systems are limited in their function, but with BINS on an ASUS All-in-One ET2012 PC salons are able to do so much more to keep their customers happy.
he ASUS All-in-One ET2012 PC’s bright and clear 20-inch touchscreen makes operation much easier, as well as allowing more information to be displayed. Busy salon staff can interact with the All-in-One ET2012’s touch-sensitive display with a mere fingertip, while the size of the screen means that customer information can be displayed alongside appointments and relevant special offers, for instance.
The combination of BINS and ASUS All-in-One ET2012 PCs has proved a great success for Bilei, with the company receiving plenty of positive feedback from its clients. As Takao Ito concludes: “The ASUS All-in-one ET2012 PC offers great value and great performance. Without it, we would find it difficult to provide our beauty industry clients with a 20-inch touch-sensitive solution.”
The ASUS All-in-One PC ET2012 features an AMD Brazos E2-1800 processor and AMD Radeon™ HD 7340 graphics for seamless multi-tasking and outstanding HD-quality images.
The 20-inch display gives a bright and vibrant image with wide viewing angles, and the LED backlight reduces energy consumption still further, compared to CCFL displays.
Completely self-contained and measuring just 56mm at its thickest point, the ET2012 is slim and stylish enough to fit comfortably into any home, office or retail environment. The low 5.6kg weight and integral VESA mount makes for easy wall mounting, too.
