ASUS Debuts Xtion PRO LIVE Developer Kit and Successfully Concludes Developer Challenge

ASUS debuts the latest Xtion PRO LIVE developer kit that enables color (RGB) and depth image sensing, allowing developers to create the next generation of body interactive software. Bundled with a set of developer tools, the Xtion PRO LIVE makes it easier for developers to create their own gesture-based applications without the need to write complex programming algorithms.

The new Xtion PRO LIVE enables color (RGB) image and depth sensing that captures users’ body movements including push, click, circle and wave while also supporting multi-player recognition. With audio support, developers can create voice control and recognition mechanisms, which are useful for physical rehabilitation, digital signage, security systems and education based applications and games to be created.
