ESD Test
The most extreme electrostatic protection
When plugging in devices via the back I/O, electro-static shock can occasionally occur, damaging onboard components. ASUS Commercial Series is rated and thoroughly tested to satisfy higher standards of durability against ESD damage. Commercial Series back I/O connectors are designed to resist ESD of up to twice the standard of competitors’ at +/- 6,000V at the pin.

The more often a connector is typically used, the greater its quality should be. ASUS employs a weighted insertion testing regime to ensure component durability with the absolute greatest quality. For the most frequently used USB connectors, they must all survive over 10,000 plug insertions, thus ensuring extra-long durability of the connectors.
