Back in 2008, I was using an AMD dual core with a Gigabyte motherboard. The board broke half-way through when I updating the BIOS, so I decided to upgrade to Intel Core 2 Quad and the P5Q Deluxe – my first ASUS motherboard. When I saw it, I liked the design and the price was good. And when I received it I was over the moon. It was a lot faster than anything I’ve used before, and it’s great for overclocking. One time when I was changing the case, I dropped a screw driver and the whole board sparked up. I thought this motherboard was definitely gone, but when I turned it off and then back on, everything was absolutely fine. This was my first experience with ASUS products and how well built they were.
