ASUS CPX20 with PCoIP™ enables a VMware ®-based virtual work environment
ASUS CPX20 Zero Client Box is a VMware® Ready appliance with built-in PCoIP® (PC-over-IP) support. Thanks to its integrated Teradici® Tera 2321 processor, connecting the CPX20 Zero Client Box to any normal monitor turns it into all-in one zero client monitor for seamless integration with VMware®-based Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) environments. The CPX20’s PCoIP® remote desktop protocol allows endpoints to connect to a central server that hosts the operating systems and applications. This frees users and administrators from the burden of applying patches and updates or other routine PC maintenance tasks, simplifying desktop management and increasing security.
What is VDI?
In a VDI (Virtual Desktop Infrastructure) environment, clients connect to desktop operating systems and applications running on virtual machines that are hosted on a central server
What are the benefits of CPX20?
Benefit from PCoIP
Effortless IT management
The CPX20 Zero Client Box’s Teradici PCoIP® processor synchronizes administrative tasks and software updates seamlessly to give your business a highly efficient IT management system.
Secure your data
With PCoIP® technology, all files and software are safely stored on the central server. This approach also means users only have internet access via a secure gateway, minimizing the risk of malware and other security issues.
All-in-One design saves money and space
The CPX20 Zero Client Box is a standalone solution that needs no PC. Attach the CPX20 to any VESA-compatible monitor to provide your workforce with a neat and tidy all-in-one workstation, saving on additional infrastructure costs.
Fast data transmission with UDP
Teradici PCoIP® uses the User Datagram Protocol (UDP) for high-speed data transfers between the CPX20 Zero Client Box and the remote host, which can help increase the productivity of your workforce.
VESA mount compatible design
Weighing just 500g, the CPX20 Zero Client Box has a sleek, compact design and can be mounted easily on the back of any VESA-compatible display. Once connected, the CPX20 turns any display into a VDI Zero Client monitor, freeing up desktop space for a clutter-free workstation.
