Landscape, portrait, nature, street , any other photography categories that can express your creativity and concept

  • Below 1 MB

  • JPEG, JPG or PNG

  • Highly recommend image resolution should be at least 1920 x 1080px

  • No color limitation (submissions can be in black and white)

Graphic Design

Poster, comic, game art, 2D concept art, digital art, any other digitally-generated graphics

  • Below 1 MB

  • JPEG, JPG or PNG

  • Highly recommend image resolution should be at least 1920 x 1080px

Photography
Film

Short film, music video, stop motion, any other video types that involve filming, visual effects and digital editing

  • Less than 60 seconds

  • Must be submitted with a publicly-viewable, password-free link to a Vimeo or YouTube video

  • Thumbnail resolution should be at least 1920 x 1080px (JPG & below 5 MB)

  • Highly recommend to be horizontal in 16:9 format

  • If subtitles are needed, they must be embedded in the video

Animation

3D animation, live action with animated characters, any other animation types that are digitally generated 

  • Less than 60 seconds

  • Must be submitted with a publicly-viewable, password-free link to a Vimeo or YouTube video

  • Thumbnail resolution should be at least 1920 x 1080px (JPG & below 5 MB)

  • Highly recommend to be horizontal in 16:9 format

  • If subtitles are needed, they must be embedded in the video

Entry Notes

  • Entries must have been created within 1 year of the submission date.

  • Entries must be original and relate to the event theme.

  • Participants may enter multiple categories. Only one entry per category is allowed, and each submission can only be entered for a single category.

  • Proof of originality in the form of the original high-resolution file from your working software is needed when accepting a prize.

Scoring and Criteria*

General Criteria

When assessing entries, the judges will take into account the following criteria:


  • Creativity and uniqueness
  • Wow factor and eye-catching appeal
  • Relevance to the competition theme
  • Aesthetics
  • Skill and technical execution

Pantone Special Awards

ASUS will select one winner in each category with the best color harmony and story. If you’d like to be eligible for the Pantone Special Awards, please follow below rules and guidelines.

About the colors:
Use the Pantone Color of the Year 2023 – Viva Magenta 18-1750 as the main expression that tells the story in your composition. The theme Seeing an Incredible Future should be clearly expressed.

(*Optional: Use other colors from the Pantone Autumn/Winter 2023/2024 NYFW Palette - by proportion, by contrast, by hue, by composition and so on - to complement the main color and enrich the story.)

About the technology behind:
Use the Pantone Connect or ASUS ProArt Creator Hub Color Management tools to help create palettes and manage swatches for your artwork.

(*Optional: Use the advanced functions such as color harmony or trends as part of the design process.)

In addition to your artwork, you must submit the following items along with your entry:

  • Colour palette ex. RGB codes.
  • Screenshots of you using the above-mentioned tools.
