In addition, the USB 3.1 Gen 2 port on its front panel features the reversible USB Type-C™ connector, so connecting devices is easy and there's no chance of damaging the cable or port by plugging in a device the “wrong” way. The USB 3.1 Gen 2 port offers data transfer rates of up to 10Gbps and supports Quick Charge for faster device charging.

    ASUS Aegis III

    The Aegis III system performance monitoring app enhances gaming experiences by allowing you to track CPU/memory usage as well as download and upload status. It also allows you to control fan speeds and lighting effects, and automatically alerts you if system temperature or voltage thresholds are exceeded.

    Turbo Gear triggers full-core overclocking to boost CPU speed to 4.8GHz, it also overclocks one of the GTX 1080 graphics cards2 for a 15% performance boost. System memory can be overclocked, too, with Intel XMP technology providing a 17% jump in performance3.

    XSplit Gamecaster lets you stream or record gameplay easily. An in-game overlay allows for easy streaming and recording, and allows you to make in-game annotations to highlight what's happening onscreen. You can also interact with your audience while broadcasting on Twitch.

    Aerospace-inspired design

    ROG GT51CH won the CES® Innovation and iF Design awards in 2016. Its aggressive, aerospace-inspired look features sharp, chiselled edges and smooth surfaces. These details combine to draw your eye toward its centerpiece – the turbine-like air intake on the front of the chassis. But its bold look isn't just for show: The intake is fully functional and houses a Pulse Width Modulation fan that draws air into the cooling system.
    A mesh window on the chassis side panel lets you admire the inner workings of the GT51CH, offering a view of the motherboard, internal LED effects and neatly routed internal cables.

    Light it up with ASUS Aura

    ROG GT51CH features dynamic ASUS Aura lighting effects across its parallel light strips, iconic ROG logo and central air intake. ASUS Aura can be customized in up to 8 million different colors to suit the feel of the game you're currently playing. There's even a pre-set OC mode that automatically activates when you overclock the system.
    For internal ASUS Aura lighting, ROG engineers doubled the number of LEDs on the motherboard from five to ten, to create even more intense effects. Similar to the chassis lights, the motherboard light settings can also be customized to match the feel of your game.

    Three-way cooling solution

    To cope with the cooling demands of such a high performance machine, ROG designers created a three-way cooling solution that caters to each heat-generating component. The Hydro Overclocking System cools the CPU to ensure rock-solid stability during overclocking, while a dedicated air channel helps cool the GPU. Additionally, the power supply unit, found in the bottom corner of the chassis, has its own isolated airflow design.
    This multi-zone cooling system ensures efficient heat management and decreases system temperatures by up to 31%, even during marathon gaming sessions.

    ESS SABRE HiFi digital-to-analog converter and amplifier

    The GT51CH audio experience enhances an already intense gaming experience. The integrated ESS SABRE headphone digital-to-analog converter and amplifier immerse you in incredible sound the moment the headphones go on. It supports a high dynamic range while delivering improved bass and less noise in its rich 32-bit/384kHz sound output. This all translates to in-game audio that sounds richer, with greater detail and less distortion.

    With SABRE HiFi, wider amplitudes and audio frequencies greater than 20kHz are reproduced.
