Question 1: Altimeter  correction of ASUS VivoWatch 5

A1: The principle of the altimeter is to calculate from the atmospheric pressure, applicable environment: indoor/elevator, the altimeter can be measured; but the altimete don't support in closed places (for example - cabin and pressure chamber don't support)

 

Question 2: Pulse index correction of ASUS VivoWatch 5

A2: This function needs to be calibrated with an arm-type blood pressure monitor before use, and we also recommend that it be calibrated every four weeks to improve measurement accuracy:

1. Attach the cuff of the arm blood pressure monitor to your arm (refer to the operating instructions of your blood pressure monitor).

2. Place the ASUS VivoWatch 5 on the wrist of the same arm. Make sure the strap fits snugly around your wrist, but not too tightly. Make sure that the watch is set to be worn on the left or right hand.

3. Set your age, gender, height, weight and wrist (left or right) are entered correctly in your personal information.

4. Put the phone that peared with ASUS VivoWatch 5 on the table (please install ASUS HealthConnect beforehand).

5. Open the HealthConnect application on your phone and click Blood Pressure, and then follow the on-screen instructions to do the following.

    A. Start the blood pressure measurement on the arm blood pressure monitor.

    B. Rest for more than 60 seconds.

    C. Enter the reading of the arm blood pressure monitor in the HealthConnect application.

    D. Press Start on the calibration screen that appears on the ASUS VivoWatch 5.

    E. Repeat steps A-D. Take two more measurements (for a total of three measurements) to complete the ASUS Vivo Watch calibration.

6. Take a break of at least 2 minutes between each calibration.
