Unlike the Asus ZenWiFi BT10, the Asus ZenWiFi BT8 lacks 10Gbps Ethernet ports. The latter has only two 2.5Gbps ports, which means that it's probably best for those using a 3Gbps plan. But the BT8 is still a tri-band mesh system that retains the 6GHz band, unlike cheaper dual-band routers that omit this. It also offers all the software features found in the higher-end BT10.
