KGMH-D16/QDR is based on the latest AMD Magny-Cours platform to support 45nm Opteron™ 6300/6200/6100 series processors. The platform is designed for high density datacenter environment, delivers 12-core/ 8-core multi-core performance, dual HT3 links with up to 6.4GT/S interconnect rate per link, 12 MB shared L3 cache, and 16 DDR3 1600* memory DIMMs to support up to 256GB (RDIMM) in 6.8”*16.7” form factor.

Advanced HEAT PIPE Design: Effectively Protect Core Logic at Heavy Duty Environment
The Heat Pipe design effectively directs the heat generated by the chipsets to the heatsink near the back IO ports, where it can be dissipated by airflow from CPU fan or bundled optional fan, and eliminates the lifetime problem that a chipset fan often has, being the most reliable fanless thermal solution to date.
High Power Efficiency Serverboard -- Up to 90% VR Efficiency
The power efficiency of KGMH-D16/QDR is more than 90% under heavy loading and even reaches up to 94%. Furthermore, the solid, long life conductive polymer capacitors (sustaining 5,000 hrs @ 105℃) in KGMH-D16/QDR ensure longer component life and lower power loss — creating higher energy efficiency.
Built in BMC engine, IPMI 2.0 + KVM-over-IP enabled by AMSB4 Module (Dedicated Management LAN)
The optional ASMB4-iKVM provides remote real-time full control access to the system based on BIOS-level by keyboard, video monitor and mouse (KVM over Ethernet) from any local computer anywhere, anytime.
