    Distribution Account Manager

    Location:

    Job description

    ASUS, one of the leading PC and gaming brands in the world, renowned for its cutting-edge innovation and premium design ethos is seeking a Distribution Account Manager to join the UK Distribution Team. Having recently celebrated its 30th year and inspired by the ‘In search of Incredible’ brand spirit, ASUS UK are looking for a strong individual to manage ASUS PC Systems products via our distribution partners, who has relevant industry experience, ideally within the distribution channel, to join the Distribution Team based in Hemel Hempstead.


    Job description

    • Building relationships, and work with ASUS BDM and marketing teams within each distributor, visiting each distributor weekly
    • Maintaining regular contact with internal and external sales team within each distributor, ensuring customer and stock profiles are managed closely
    • Conducting sales training at least once per quarter in each distributor
    • Monitoring and analyzing market conditions within various verticals to help plan our range cycles accordingly
    • Maintaining deal trackers to help achieve set quarterly sell out and customer breadth targets, to underpin our aspirational growth plans
    • Working closely with sales teams, to ensure they are aware of our offers and pricing from ASUS. Ensuring communications are aligned with the relevant marketing team to support the sell out within each account
    • Organising and running spiff/call out days every month within each account
    • Preparing for the weekly internal sales meeting to present your sales forecasts, highlighting any stock issues, discussing aged stock, planning for the week ahead and requesting any support required
    • Acting and responding quickly to all customer queries
    • Discussing with the buying team around intake plans for the QTR and also purchasing orders that need to be made

    Skills and experience

    • Minimum 3 years work experience (ideally within the distribution channel)
    • Account Management
    • Excellent interpersonal skills with the confidence and ability to engage across all levels and all functions, in addition to be able to negotiate effectively
    • Organised with the ability to take ownership
    • Strong verbal, written and formal presentation skills
    • Team player
    • Intermediate MS Excel skills

    • Identifying and developing new end user business opportunities

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and managing key strategic accounts, along with the execution of associated marketing.
