High performance, extensive expandability, and superior reliability

      Exclusive ASUS PIKE

To meet growing demands for mass storage in business environments, the TS700-E7/RS8 provides eight hot-swap hard drive modules for large storage capacities and easy upgrades. In addition, it supports optional ASUS PIKE upgrade kits with only a PIKE riser card and a PIKE card: simply connecting the onboard SATA cable to the PIKE riser card’s SAS port upgrades server SATA storage to SAS storage.

      Tool-less design

The accessible and friendly server layout allows users to replace the rear fans, 5.25” optical drives, system fans, and hard drive cages with great ease and no tools, saving significant time and effort.

      Dual use server and workstation

With a PCI Express x16 expansion slot to support a graphics card, the TS700-E7/RS8 is capable of high speed graphics computing. ASUS MIO cards further provide lifelike audio for workstation users.

      Rack-mount and pedestal positioning

Besides working as a pedestal server, the TS700-E7/RS8 is also rack-mountable with the optional rack-mount kit, saving space and consolidating with the many systems required by growing businesses.

Quad LAN with high speed Gigabit performance

Four LAN teaming ports provide high networking bandwidth with precision load balancing and fault tolerance functions, which reducing data processing bottlenecks in virtualization environments by enhancing virtualized traffic management.

Comprehensive server management with ASMB6 and ASWM

Optional ASMB6 enables dashboard system health monitoring, remote power on/off control, virtual media over LAN, automatic video recording, and network bonding support. In addition, the ASMB6 function is based on BIOS-level access, so even if the server operating system is down, the KVM module is still able to provide round-the-clock remote monitoring and diagnosis through a user-friendly GUI (web-based graphical user interface). Meanwhile, ASWM Enterprise software provides one-to-multiple centralized management, including BIOS flash, remote control, power control, and asset management through a user-friendly interface. Users gain an easy and convenient way of achieving remote server control.

      Integrated remote server management

With the web GUI ASMB6-iKVM module, users can fully control the server with out-of-band server-based management using the IPMI 2.0 standard, accessing 24/7 real-time remote monitoring. ASWM Enterprise software works in this situation as well, offering the same user-friendly features listed above.
