We were seduced by the ROG Phone 8... we also liked the Zenfone 11 Ultra. In fact, the performance is just as good, with exceptional performance and a pleasant, fluid interface. The phone is a pleasure to use every day. The photo aspect is very satisfying, with clear, precise and detailed shots. ... With a slightly lower price tag starting at €1,000, this is one of the best smartphones of the year.

In every respect, the Zenfone 11 Ultra is a seductive smartphone. With its bright 144 Hz display and perfect mastery of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, it's ideal for entertaining. Its interface is sober and well thought-out, its audio clearly above the rest, and its battery life gigantic. Even when it comes to photography, Asus can no longer be complacent. It goes from good to very good, enough to satisfy the majority of users.

this "Ultra" version is a good high-end smartphone. However, it lacks the personality to stand out from its competitors, and its similarities with the ROG Phone 8 don't always work in its favor. But the Zenfone 11 Ultra does have one argument in its favor: its price. Launched at €999 and even €899 on pre-order, it offers good value for money.

...regarding this new Asus Zenfone 11 Ultra ... the aim is to offer a premium smartphone with a top-of-the-range camera block, AI functions and excellent autonomy. From this point of view, Asus' new smartphone ticks all these boxes. Indeed, the Asus Zenfone 11 Ultra is complete from start to finish: it's high-performance, durable, with an excellent screen and, above all, a versatile photo unit.

There's no denying that the Zenfone 11 Ultra offers excellent performance and improves on the Zenfone 10 in many respects. Power, photography and autonomy have all been upgraded. As for the interface, the shift towards artificial intelligence has begun, but there are still a great many points to revise before we have a satisfactory proposal.

The charging speed may be influenced by various factors, such as usage during charging, battery state of health, environmental temperature, or compatibility of charging equipment. Therefore, the actual charging speed may vary and could be slower.

  14. The device has been tested for water resistance using IEC 60529 standard and has achieved an IP65/IP68 rating. Water and dust resistance can deteriorate over time in normal usage, or if the device is damaged, repaired or taken apart. The device should never be completely submerged underwater, and should not be allowed to come into contact with seawater, brine, chlorinated water or drinks. Failure to observe correct precautions will invalidate the device warranty and the function of water and dust resistance. Water resistance is tested by submerging the device to a depth of 1.5 meters in tap water for 30 minutes. After the test the device is removed and fully dried, then checked for normal operation. Please note that the device has a USB-C charging port, and this USB-C port must be completely dry before any attempt is made at charging.
