With its Zenbook Pro 16X, Asus ... signs a very nice alternative to the MacBook Pro ... As for saying that the student has surpassed the master, everything suggests it. The quality of the assembly is perfect, the keyboard and touchpad are very good, and the Harman Kardon audio system with six Dolby Atmos speakers is very convincing for a laptop. The Zenbook Pro 16X also has elements that are often missing from MacBook Pros: touch-sensitive OLED screen, facial recognition and various connectivity

ASUS Zenbooks have been tailored more to creative or daily use, but the Pro versions take it to a new level. The 14 Duo has two screens one OLED, while the 16X has a giant OLED screen and a knob! So if you want to flex on Apple users, this is probably your best BET!
I absolutely love this having that secondary display all within this laptop can open up lots of possibilities.
It really is only ASUS with their Zenbooks & Zephyrus Duos that are giving us some good dual screen options. The Zenbook Pro 16X OLED is going to tempt me perhaps away from the Macbook Pro 16

This means they can achieve much higher RAM speeds plus the Pro 16X OLED now gets liquid metal on the CPU to keep things cooler for longer. I can't wait to review this properly and see just what it can do with all that new hardware and just how fast RAM can actually get built into the chip."
These could be the best laptops of 2022 for creators and for thin and light users, especially with the Ryzen 7 6800U for battery life.
A high-end laptop with specs and performance to match. It's great for visual content creators with demanding workflow and tight production schedules.

Asus has just revealed its latest line of Zenbook laptops at CES 2023 — committing fully to OLED displays, 13th Gen Intel Core CPUs, and RTX 40 Series GPUs. But out of all the big updates, the most significant is a reinvented System-on-Module (SoM) design......That leads to improved cooling efficiency, lower running temperatures, and the ability to pack more GPU components in there and reach a higher Thermal Design Power (TDP) value. Translation: a lot more power potential.
A few millimeters may not sound like much to you, but it's precious real estate to hardware engineers looking for more room inside to improve performance and cooling. Asus says the combination of the SoM, a vapor chamber, improved airflow from the keyboard lift, and a Liquid Metal thermal solution taken from the company's gaming laptops allows up to 155 watts of TDP to accommodate the latest 2023 processor and GPU options from Intel and Nvidia respectively.
