[NUC] The System Only Detects the SSD/Storage Side of the Hybrid Module, but Not the Optane™ Memory

Resolution

The Optane™ Memory H10 Series requires specific BIOS support to properly detect the SSD/Storage side of the device and the Intel Optane Memory portion. 

After checking the Product Compatibility Tool site confirmed that the NUC8i3CYSN mini pc does not support Optane H10 Series.

To find if the NUC is compatible with Optane™ module use the Product Compatibility Tool.

  1. Access the Product Compatibility Tool site.
  2. Click NUC or enter a product name on the search bar.
  3. If the product name was entered the list of  compatible peripherals will be displayed. If the NUC icon was clicked, search for the NUC model on the list located on the left.
  4. Once the list of the peripherals is displayed, locate the Optane™ Technology option and it will shows all the Intel Optane modules compatible with the NUC.
