Right now, we have opened a position of a retail account manager in our Finnish System Business Group team. This position entails working closely with some of our largest retail customers together with the national and Scandinavian sales teams. As part of the Finnish sales team, you are an energetic go-getter, managing the sales from planning to execution, together with a team that shares your passion.

    You are eager to become a part of a dynamic company with state-of-the-art products. Personal interest in the field of consumer electronics, i.e. IT is necessary. Our current product portfolio consists of notebooks, desktops tablets and mobile phones.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Independently manage appointed Retail customers: analyze, plan, and execute from sell in to sell through
    • Agree terms of business, product portfolio, marketing and sales activities with your customers
    • Understand the customer needs in order to fully utilize our product portfolio
    • Gather market information from appointed customers
    • Close cooperation with our national sales and marketing team in addition to our Nordic counterparts
    • Execute product training

    Required Skills and Experience:

    • Ambitious and structured sales expert with the ability to create long lasting business relationships
    • Experience of at least 2-3 years in IT-sales or knowledge of Finnish Retail preferred
    • You are a team-player with the ability to take initiative and drive the sales process forward
    • Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
    • Strong Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills
    • Ability to calculate e.g. discounts, interest, commissions and percentages
    • Able to travel frequently
    • Upper secondary school graduate, university or university of applied sciences preferred
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, both spoken & written
    • Motivation and a skillset to conduct presentations and training
    • A social and outgoing personality with a high energy level
    • Technically inclined

    Position: Pan-Nordic Key Account Manager - Consumer Business Unit

    Past years we have accounted strong growth and now we are looking for a Pan-Nordic Key Account Manager who can further drive growth across product portfolio and evolve with new innovative thinking.

    About the assignment

    As Pan-Nordic Key Account Manager you will be responsible for attracting new business opportunities and growing existing business through developing a professional partnership with key customers. You will play an important role in developing a stronger position for ASUS across all Nordic countries.

    You will be in charge of supervising and implement Sales and Promotion plans for all product groups within the Consumer Business Unit, currently being Laptops, Desktops and Tablets. You act as the main customer contact person in terms of both central and local business decisions and have the head responsibility over local operational sales results in each country. You will be reporting to the Scandinavian Consumer Sales Director and will be positioned at ASUS Nordic head office in Kista.

    Key operational responsibilities

    • Responsible for the total Laptop, Desktop and Tablet sales for selected key customers
    • Work close together with the Product Management team, Marketing team and Consumer Sales Director to create the win-win for the customer and the company
    • Attracting new business opportunities, build and secure a strong relationship with the customer
    • Close contact with central decision makers as well as both central and local country sales teams at the customer
    • Create, drive and coordinate sales activities, sales related marketing plans, events and campaigns with the customer
    • Drive sales on a both central and local country level by focus on "sell-out"
    • Obtain orders and make sure all internal departments involved are aware and have sufficient information to process the orders
    • Follow up central and local stock level and continuously activate products where needed
    • Follow-up on the supply chain and secure on time deliveries by accurate forecasting of sales
    • Skillfully negotiate annual terms and conditions for the trade terms on selected customers
    • Perform quarterly and annual business reviews with the customer as well as internally within the company
    • Follow-up on market trends as well as competitor result and development
    • Maintain professional and technical knowledge about each product line
    • Overall budget responsibility and handling; request for activities, follow-up, account forecasting and business tracking.
    • Administration such as internal reporting and working with account plans
    In order to succeed within ASUS, we believe these are your characteristics;

    Background and experience

    • Minimum 3 years proven and documented experience of sales within Consumer Electronics/IT Market
    • Experience of managing a key accounts and/or large accounts
    • High interest for the products and good knowledge about the business market, preferably distributor and retail area
    • Very good negotiating skills and practical experience of negotiating with customers
    • Experience of working and calculate on sales and retail related KPI’s such as stock rotation, margins, turnover
    • Experience of working strategic with sales planning and can easily switch between short term and long term perspective
    • Be able to manage and keep many tasks running simultaneously
    • Very good skills in MS Office is required
    • Driving license required
    • Fluent in Swedish and English is required and other Nordic language is preferable
