Feature Description:
1. When the laptop is opened, a portion of the bottom flexes a 5 to 9 mm air circulation gap, which improves airflow by over 20%.
2. Along with the high speed 12V LCP fan, the fan blades are made of a special liquid crystal polymer (LCP) that allows their thickness to be reduced by 33%. It allows more blades to be added to the fan and improves the airflow. The warm air is then pumped out through the four exhaust outlets; thus enhances the heat dissipation of the system.

●What is AAS+?
In order to maximize the performance of ultra-thin gaming laptops, the cooling system becomes more important. ROG newly designed AAS Plus system uses our classic active aerodynamic system, opening a larger 28.5mm air intake behind the second screen to inhale cooler air and reduce noise.
The new AAS Plus is combined with many new heat dissipation technologies (such as using liquid metal for heat dissipation on the CPU), it can maintain the laptop in high performance. Base on the different tasks processing, ROG Armoury Crate application will switch seamlessly between different operating modes to optimize heat dissipation and noise.

ASUS ROG origination design Active Aerodynamic System (AAS), lifted to expose a small vent beneath the chassis. AAS Plus pushes that concept further, opening up a 28.5mm high air intake behind the tilted secondary display that increases airflow by 30%. Instead of drawing in air from below where warmer components have a greater effect on intake flow, allowing our fans to draw cooler air from above. The larger space also helps keep lowrer noise levels , and giving a quieter gaming experience.

●What is AAS+ 2.0?
ROG has integrated a second display into the Zephyrus Duo 16, using a patented four-directional hinge. When you open the machine, the ROG ScreenPad™ Plus is lifted and pulled towards the main display, settling in at a 13-degree angle for maximum ergonomics and immersion. We call this mechanism AAS Plus 2.0, and it creates a wide 28.5mm air intake that increases airflow by up to 30%. Combined with other new thermal improvements, AAS Plus 2.0 allows your device to maintain high performance for longer.

What is AAS Ultra？
The tilt mechanism has been completely redesigned to create AAS Ultra, with a precision-engineered mechanism that raises the rear of ScreenPad Plus by 12° when the laptop is opened. This positions ScreenPad Plus at the ideal viewing angle for easy cross-screen operation with the main touchscreen. It also enhances cooling by allowing 38% more airflow. This in turn reduces the laptop's surface temperature by up to 4°C, increasing both comfort and CPU performance.
