High Density Computing for HPC Applications

      Extreme High Density Computing Capability

The RS720Q-E7/RS12 supports 96 cores in a 2U chassis and 16 DIMM slots for up to 512 GB R-DIMM memory per node, delivering outstanding performance and extreme computing density.

      Massive Storage Capacity

Three hot-swappable 3.5” hard drives per node in SATA 3Gb/s provide large amounts of high speed storage for all professional applications.

      High Power Efficiency

Built with 1+1 redundant 1620W 80+ Platinum power supplies, the RS720Q-E7/RS12 offers enhanced efficiency for HPC applications. The PSU hot-swap design allows the server to keep working even if one power supply requires maintenance.

      Modular Design for Independent Maintenance

The RS720Q-E7/RS12 utilizes several considerate designs for easy maintenance: hot-swappable hard drives, fans and power supplies, plus hot-pluggable nodes for effortless online service and replacement. Each node has its own front panel for the convenience of separate operation and caretaking.

      Comprehensive RAID

Optional ASUS RAID PIKE upgrade kits are supported. With SAS/SATA 6G PIKE card, users can upgrade the server from SATA to SAS storage by simply re-connecting the cable from the onboard SATA to the PIKE riser SAS port, affording greater flexibility.

      Complete Server Remote Management

By default web GUI ASMB6-iKVM module, users can have full control of the server with out-of-band server-based management (IPMI 2.0 standard) and 24x7 real-time remote monitoring. ASWM Enterprise software provides one-to-multiple centralized management, including BIOS flashing, remote control, power control and asset management, all through a user-friendly interface.
