Color it black
The elegant and uncomplicated ProArt look is
a statement of design intent: the emotional power of pure black dominates to
create an air of sophisticated simplicity with a futuristic techno-chic
edge. Timeless black and muted shades project professionalism and solidity,
married to tactile high-tech finishes that are both elegant and practical.
The bold and authoritative silhouette immediately catches the attention, yet
still retains a hint of artistic mystery that intrigues the eyes.
This signature ProArt aesthetic leverages
science to help creators maintain focus on the creative process.
Screen-based creativity benefits from a neutral workstation that minimizes
any impact on color accuracy: darker, reflection-free tones reduce visual
distractions. ProArt is a harmonious blend of professionalism and art.
Designed to be touched
Dark surfaces are notoriously difficult to
keep free of fingerprints, and in a professional environment that’s
not a good look. For ProArt products, we use a specially formulated coating
that maintains that fresh-out-of-the-box look for longer.
This coating has a 105° water-drop angle that makes moisture easy
to wipe off, along with low-maintenance anti-fouling properties. Reflections
are also reduced to minimize distractions, and the physical properties of
the coating have been optimized to give plastic or metal surfaces a
pleasingly tactile matte texture.
Intuitive creation
Using intelligence in design, we create
ProArt products to answer the unasked questions. We focus on the critical
interface between a creator and their creation: with a perfectly-designed
interface the creator will instantly know how to use it, yet in use they
should barely be aware of it.
That's the philosophy behind the ASUS Dial,
the groundbreaking rotary controller that brings back haptics and is
available on selected ProArt products. Virtual control of creative app
parameters via a keyboard or mouse can require complex mental gymnastics and
is often physically awkward, but the physical ASUS Dial offers direct,
natural and intuitive interactivity with haptic feedback, allowing the
creator to concentrate on the result rather than the process.
