After upgrade to Windows 10 - ASUS Recovery (Reset)/F9 has no function

What is ASUS recovery? What does it do?

ASUS recovery is ASUS system restore software. You can directly recover your system to the ASUS factory state by pressing F9 during system boots up.

 

After upgrade to Windows 10. If Windows 10's ASUS Recovery (Reset) has no function, include: Keep my files/Remove everything/Restore factory settings. You can follow the following troubleshooting.

User can download and run the following tool (ASUS Recovery) via ASUS Support Site:  http://support.asus.com.cn/Download.aspx?SLanguage=en&m=ASUS+Recovery&p=3&s=110

Select OS: If you OS is upgraded from Windows8.1 64bit. In OS select box,you should choose Windows 8.1 64bit

Tap or click Utilities——choose one path to download (If you upgrade from Windows 7, please download V2.0.0.2)

Extract and open the file

Tap or click "Continue"

Tap or click "Yes"

Then the system will reboot and enter into WinRE. Tap or click "Troubleshoot"

Tap or click "Reset this PC"

According to your demand choose corresponding option

In most case, you can go back to Windows 10 with the latest rollup

Note: Only ASUS Windows 8.1 (non WIMBOOT) and Hidden partition is normal, the choice "Restore factory settings" will displayed and can go back to Windows 8.1 ASUS factory default.
