Answer: Yes, it ships fully configured with the DGX OS, which is Linux-based.
3. What is DGX OS?
Answer: DGX OS is a customized operating system for NVIDIA's DGX systems, based on Ubuntu Linux but with specific optimizations, drivers, and diagnostic tools for running AI, machine learning, and analytics applications. It comes pre-installed on DGX hardware to provide a turnkey solution, or it can be installed via an ISO image. The OS includes the NVIDIA DGX Software Stack, which can also be installed separately on a regular Ubuntu system for more flexibility.

Answer: ASUS offers 1TB and 4TB SSD SKUs. We do not support upgrades to ASUS Ascent GX10 hardware at this time. Any damage or system malfunction resulting from customer-performed SSD replacement or hardware modification will be considered Customer-Induced Damage (CID) and is not covered under warranty.
18. Is there any differences between GB10 and ASUS Ascent GX10?
Answer: Both the ASUS Ascent GX10 and the GB10 are built on the same core architecture, powered by the NVIDIA GB200 Grace Blackwell Superchip (integrating a Grace CPU and a Blackwell GPU).

Answer: No, it only supports DGX OS.

Answer: Ubuntu, NVIDIA DGX™ Base OS is currently the only tested and recommended OS for ASUS Ascent GX10. Thank you, so far DGX OS is the only tested and recommended OS, the version is not finalized since the product is under developing now.

Answer: 1TB & 2TB PCIe 4.0 SSD: TCG Pyrite. 4TB PCIe 5.0 SSD: TCG Opal.
31. What is ASUS Ascent GX10 power clarification?
Answer: ASUS Ascent GX10’s peak total system power is 240W. The TDP of the GB10 SOC which includes the GPU and the CPU is 140W. The rest of the system which includes the ConnectX-7, SSD and provisions for USB-C devices is 100W.
