Frequently Asked Questions
Question 1: Does the ROG Eurux case fan require a fan hub to operate?
Answer: The ROG Eurux fan must be connected to the dedicated ROG hub to operate.
The hub is a standard accessory in the ROG Eurux GR120 fan 3-pack set and is included in the packaging; you can also purchase it separately as needed for use with a single fan.
The ROG fan hub supports up to 14 fans and is equipped with dual SATA power inputs to provide maximum power output.
Question 2: What are the specifications of the ROG Eurux GR120 ARGB case fan?
Answer: ROG Eurux GR120 ARGB fan uses a 120mm size design, with a thickness of 30mm, and utilizes reinforced liquid crystal polymer (LCP) fan blades and patented daisy-chain connectors, providing excellent airflow and static pressure performance that is durable and stable.
Question3: Why did I connect the fan, but the Port appears [grayed out] and cannot be selected in the software interface?
Answer3: If the port is grayed out in the software interface, it means the system has not yet synchronized the latest hardware connection status. Please try the following steps to troubleshoot:
- Perform fan tuning: Armoury Crate > Device > ROG EURUX > Fan Control > Fan Tuning, and the system will automatically detect the status of each controller port.

- Check the connection status:
- If the port icon for the fan is grayed out, it means the fan is not detected. Please check if the cable is properly connected.

- If the system detects a new fan connected to the port, a prompt message will pop up and the [+ Fan] icon will appear so you can add it to the corresponding fan list.
Note: Every time there is a hardware change (such as replacing the cable) or the device is unplugged and replugged, you must perform fan tuning again to ensure the controller updates and records the latest connection status for each port correctly.
Question 4: How do I set the number of fans on each port?
Answer 4: After selecting the corresponding port, click [+] to sequentially add a fan. The system will automatically copy the lighting effects settings from the previous fan.

To delete a fan, click the trash can icon
to sequentially reduce the number of fans; fans can only be deleted in order and cannot be removed at random.

Note: The maximum number of fans supported by a single controller is 14
Question 5: Lighting effects are abnormal or related fan settings cannot be successfully applied. How should I troubleshoot?
Answer 5: Please try the following steps for troubleshooting:
- Armoury Crate > Device > ROG Eurux > Firmware Update, make sure the GR120 fan controller firmware version is the latest.
Note: You can click Check for Updates or confirm the latest firmware version in the ROG Eurux GR120 download section.
- Armoury Crate > Settings > Update Center, make sure Armoury Crate software, devices, and components are all up-to-date.
Question 6: Why is the default fan lighting effect color different from what is shown on the packaging?

- White controller: Default lighting effect is [blue and purple cycling alternately].

Black controller: Default lighting effect is [red and white cycling alternately].
