[NUC] Unable To Install the Thunderbolt™ 3 DCH Driver for Windows® 10 on NUC
Resolution
- Connect a Thunderbolt device into the Thunderbolt port.
- Uninstall the existing Thunderbolt Software. This should also uninstall the driver.
- Open the Start menu and click Settings.
- Select Apps & features.
- Select Thunderbolt Software and click Uninstall.
- Restart the computer.
- Open the Driver & Support Assistant and complete the update by following the prompts.
- Restart the computer.
- Open the Driver & Support Assistant and click on refresh results, the software will now be updated.
If this does not resolve the issue, also make sure that the operating system is up to date
- Click Start.
- Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update.
- Click the Check for Updates button.
- Select and Install any available new builds
- Once the update is finished, the update for Thunderbolt™ 3 DCH Driver for Windows® 10 for NUC on DSA should no longer appear.
