ROG Aesthetics Build Video
Stories behind the build

The intention for this build was to challenge myself to think outside of the norms of PC building. The open concept of this PPCS case is a great way to showcase any motherboard and other computer components. I modified the case by giving it a modern silver-blue automotive paint job using the same paint used on BMW vehicles. It really gives it that automotive feel. For the tubes, I tend to use chrome because it gives the design more of an industrial feel and makes is a statement piece. When I saw the final paint job, I immediately felt that some clear acrylic fans would give a subtle futuristic look to the mod. When the radiators came in, I put them beside the fans and the case, but they didn’t flow well with the overall design being created because the black pulled away and distracted from the look. I then decided to paint them the same color as the case so they complemented and completed the build.

What inspired me in this design was the strong, powerful feeling of the brand ROG and the vibrant color red. When I received the new X570-E gaming motherboard I immediately noticed the lines that the board has on the design of the cover shields. If you look closely, you will see that we kept those lines throughout the chrome tubes to match the motherboard in a subtle way that really worked well! Adding the EK CPU block that also has the line design was a winning choice. Overall, it was a dream to work with the X570-e gaming board. It really brings so much potential to any computer build!

Tips I would give is to first to find different sources of inspiration all around you. Really don’t be afraid of trying something new even if you fail. Once you give it a try, it will get easier because you will find new and different techniques for how to approach what you are trying to achieve. And one of those ways might just be genius!
