This article provides information on how to configure a remote management card for PXE Boot over UEFI on a Dell client system.
Prerequisites
- Remote management card must be installed in the system.
- System must support UEFI boot mode.
- System must support PXE boot.
Configuration
- Power on the system.
- During POST, enter the system setup.
- Go to Boot Manager or Boot Configuration and uncheck Boot Network Devices Last
- Go to Network Boot and enable UEFI PXE & iSCSI
- Select either Ethernet1 Boot or Ethernet2 Boot
- Pressing the F12 key during POST automatically forces booting from the LAN.
