Hello,

My name is John and I have 2 problems with my device (Asus Zenfone 2 Ze500CL --> Z00D). Also I have still warranty. I have my phone about... 6 - 7 months and he never did this before. I tried to install manual update from Asus official web pages but... nothing helped so far. Here are the problems:

1) Device automatic restart
When device screen is getting dark (going to sleep / lock) the whole device "restarts". It's not like a total restart I guess, because there just pop out the Asus logo animation and after... 10 sec I am back in OS. I am having this problem also when I manually press the power button. The interesting things....
- When I am using the phone (he is not going to sleep) it's ok, the OS won't restarts. But when the device wonna sleep (or I press the power button) it's gonna do that fast restart (every time).
- It's not full restart I guess, because after that really quick restart I don't need to enter PIN to my SIM card, also the apps which were open are still open in background (the apps history button or what it is -- the button on the right). Just my SIM signal is reseting every time.

2) Wifi just stopped working
The story is... I was on phone, just checking youtube, having nice time on net and then I went to launch. I left the phone on table (in charger). I came back and Wi-Fi was turned off. So I wanted to turn it on but the OS just said "Turning on......." and after a 30 sec or somethink like that just automaticly went to "off" state again... The same thing with BlueTooth. So I decided to go full factory recover and still didn't works. So I updated the OS (automatic OS update from settings -> about system -> check updates). There was some update so I updated. BlueTooth came alive but Wi-Fi is still dead. And also the Restarting problem occured.

Any ideas how to solve this? Actually I have some more problems like... the pixels in screen is in one corner green (about 20 pixels in one corner, but nothing really bad, in normal gamma settings it's not even showing up) and when the speaker is on high volume he's kinda *bzum bzum bzum* but that's ok I am just actually worried about that WiFi and restarting.

Thanks for any help,
John ;)

HI h.kocvik,

Please show me system version(settings>about>software information>build number)

Have you tried factory resetting your phone?

If not, please backup all your files and perform factory reset.

Thanks

Hello,

I did reset my phone. Version is "WW_12.16.5.126044030426_2015010501060010000100001"

Actually when I removed my SDcard from slot (that slot is not working) and I restarted phone like for 15 times, then everything started alright. It's working again... for now.

Thanks,
John
