How to Enable Fingerprint Feature on an ASUS Zenfone 3 Max

One of the latest features available on ASUS Zenfone 3 is Fingerprint. The current fingerprint feature is widely used by hi-tech smartphones. Which feature fingerprint on this smartphone has several benefits including:

👉 Security
Yes, everywhere when you hear the word fingerprint must be identical with the security system. Well, for the fingerprint feature on Zenfone 3 it works to unlock the smartphone (no urnak ya now unlock hp use press 2x tap power button on the screen, it's practically live use fingerprint 😎).

👉 Short Control
Well, in addition to security features used on the fingerprint Zenfone 3 is functioning to: receive the phone, open the camera application and camera shutter.

I use ASUS Zenfone 3 Max, on Zenfone 3 Max this fingerprint sensor is placed on the back under the camera (can be seen picture above). To enable the fingerprint feature on ASUS Zenfone 3 is also quite easy, following the steps:

💁 Go to Setting / Settings Menu> Fingerprints



Go to the Settings menu, then select Fingerprint. After that select Manage Fingerprints.

Before enabling the fingerprint, we must first select the screen lock method. Choose one according to your needs (Pattern, PIN or Password). Then click Done.

💁 Add a Fingerprint
In this menu we do a fingerprint scan, see picture below!




In the section like the picture above just click Continue and then Next.



Then do a fingerprint scan like the picture above. Choose a finger that is comfortable, if I use the index finger. Attach your fingerprint to the fingerprint sensor located on the back, then place it and lift your finger slowly periodically. The scanned part will be blue, and if it is complete it will be green like the picture above.

Then click Done. Or click Add Another if you want to scan another fingerprint.

Well, if you have the settings for the use of fingerprint in accordance with the needs, fingerprint is ready to use. on Zenfone 3 we can do and add fingerprint scanning to 5 fingerprints.

If so, try to lock your Zenfone then unlock by using the fingerprint you have set before.

It is a very good functionality but, I think it would be better: once I had set a fingerprint, I think the phone should not keep asking for a pattern to unlock it as the Iphone does. May we hope for a upgrade to fix it? If the sensor fails, an online solution should be developed to unlock it remotely, I believe it would be more safe then the actual way.
