Will Asus ever update this storage security bs?

I just want to know if Asus has plans on removing this lock. This is too frustrating because of this limited storage it's impossible to download 1gb+ files. I wanted to save my files on my sd when downloading but this permission is there to prevent me from doing. Please do an update and remove this handicap. Thanks.
