Zenfone 3 max 5.5 screen & fingerprint sensor unresponsive

I have bought Zenfone 3 max 5.5 last week. However, my phone's touch screen and fingerprint sensor are no longer responsive since last night. I have restart the phone, removed the sim, and done hard reset. Yet, the phone's screen and fingerprint sensor are still unresponsive. Does anyone have another solution for this?

Maybe factory reset will help you. Also, try clearing the cache partition.

give it back if its still under warranty buying a budget phone with warranty is always handy in situations like these sad to hear the latest zen 3 is doin like these m happy with zen laser strong n stubborn 

yes syedsameer i already talk to Asus and according to them they will just replace the parts what is broken, what sad's me the most is i just bought it last most hope they could replace it a new one instead.

my phone now is in the service center its been 10 days and the parts are still not deliver to the service center.

guys, got my zenfone 3 max 5.5 at cellboy sm molino,just last april 16, last sunday the fingerprint scanner didnt work, this sunday May 29, the #$^!@# touchscreen now is not working! all things like wipe cache and reset are done, still not functioning! i guess this is this crap will be going to service center now.festival mall alabang i think. and possibly my last asus phone!! damn

I had experienced that same issue with my zenfone max 5.5, gold. I was texting then the screen froze. I rebooted my phone and done factory reset but still not working. I went to the service center here in bacolod and they said they have to change the fingerprint scanner. Like what the hell. And asus wont be able to fix this immediately as we still have to wait for weeks for the parts to arrive. Im like just disconnect that goddamn scanner so the screen would work. As i need a working phone since im leaving for manila on june 14... Asus should replace this phones in my opinion if theres a defective hardware...

Update: i received a text from our service center in Bacolod today saying that they need to order a motherboard as the motherboard is defective... Like... How come? What happened asus? Is this what we get on the price we paid for the zenfone max 3 5.5?
