It won't happen ever.

Technically ASUS should give the update since the Moto G4 Play is getting the Nougat update in June  http://m.gadgets.ndtv.com/mobile ... june-report-1684686
and that device shares the same Chipset and GPU as the Zenfone Max 2015. So ASUS should provide that update for both 2015 and 2016 Variants without question. If not, the petition for it has been already argued and won.

Yes we want the update as in thid price of phone more feature are coming
