All events (“this event”) on the ZenTalk ASUS forum are held by ASUSTeK Computer Inc. The contents for participating in this event and prize awards including the explanations, privacy protection policies and terms of use are all part of these notes (“these terms”). By participating in this event, you are deemed to have accepted these terms and ASUS has the right to cancel your voting, participating or reward qualifications if the terms were violated. ASUS reserves the right to update these terms and all rules for this event at any time.
(1) The dates and times listed for each event are predetermined; ASUS reserves the right to adjust them according to actual event situations.
(2) Users who did not sign up or submit their information during the specified time are not qualified to participate in the event.
(3) All staff members of this event may not participate in this event. Participants for this event are limited to ASUS members (“participants”) who are already registered users of the ZenTalk forum within the event region. ASUS reserves the right to disqualify participants with false information in their sign up documents; users with falsified documents must assume legal liability.
(4) The same participant only has one chance of winning.
(5) Qualification of winning the prize on Global site:
- Countries with local site: Taiwan, Philippine, China, India, and Indonesia.
- Participants' Nationalities are based on their resident certificate, ID, or other prize-awarding information.
- ASUS reserves the right for the final approvals, changes, modifications, and cancellations for any outstanding issues.
- The qualification of winning the prize, including but not limited to above if local sites hold no similar events.
(6) Please make sure you have completely filled out all ASUS member ship information and prepared all documentations (including purchase receipt of event products, serial number on the package of the event product (photocopy or picture) and ASUS membership information); unqualified users will not be accepted. The original copies of the documentations mentioned above must be kept until the day the event prize is received in order for ASUS to confirm. Users who accidently lost, damaged or did not retain the documentations mentioned above will be regarded as giving up the qualification.
(7) Participants must guarantee that all information filled out is real and accurate; users providing falsified or inaccurate information will be disqualified from voting, participating or winning. If this resulted in ASUS unable to notify winning participants or caused any damages to ASUS or any other third-party, the participant should bear all related responsibilities.
(8) Files and works submitted by participants will not be returned; please make backup copies.
(9) ASUS retains the right for final judgment of whether the prize will be awarded according to the standard of participant’s work and whether it has infringed on intellectual property rights; participants may not object. The selection result will be announced on this event’s website and the winner will be notified by Email.
(10) The winner must provide prize-awarding information such as scanned passport file, passport number, telephone number, E-mail and address etc., in order forus to contact the winner and send the prize. If the winner failed to providethe prize-awarding information within three days after the winner has been announced, or provided the wrong information and resulted in ASUS unable to contact the winner, the winner will be regarded as giving up the winner qualification.
(11) ASUS assumes no legal liability for the delay, loss, error, unidentifiable or damages of event prizes/ bonuses sent to the winner due to any causes not attributable to ASUS, and winners may not object.
(12) ASUS is not responsible for any taxes required for the prize; the winner is responsible for the prize taxes and should seek related financial consultation.
(13) The event prize is subject to the actual shipped product; winners may not request for exchange,transfer or exchange for cash. ASUS reserves the right to change the event prize with equal value for the winner.
(14) If there are any missing components in the event prize or that the prize is not operating properly, please keep the complete status and packaging (including main unit, components, internaland external packaging bags (boxes) etc.) of the event prize as when it was received and file a report to ASUS with E-mail within one week after receiving the prize; reports received after one week will not be accepted.
(15) Prizes awarded for events are not in ASUS warranty range; exceptions are subject to ASUS announcements.
(16) Defective new products can be exchanged within seven days.
(17) Participants should follow these terms and all rules set by ASUS for this event. ASUS reserves the right to confirm participant qualifications or cancel the event prize/ bonuswon by participants through improper behaviors at any time during or after the event period. Not exercising the rights mentioned above does not mean that the ASUS organizers relinquished those rights.
(18) The events are held byASUS; Facebook did not sponsor, endorse, manage or relate to the events in anyway. Therefore participants must agree not to hold Facebook responsible for any responsibilities related to the event. Participants must be clear that all personal information submitted for participating in this event will be sent to ASUS and not Facebook, and the personal information will only be used for this event.
(19) Participants must agree to thefollowings: All submitted works must be original works; participants must not steal, misappropriate or reprint other people’s work to participate in this event. ASUS has the right to disqualify participants using unoriginal works. The participating work must not include illegal topics and contents including sex and violence. Participants must also authorize ASUS to use the image data shot on-site (including photos and videos) and submitted works for this event on related ASUS websites, publications and printed matters according to ASUS “Terms of Use” and the “Privacy Protection Policy”, with no restrictions to usage methods and free of charge to use for promotions and announcements through any type of global media channels (including ASUS ZenTalk and ASUS related marketing promotional usage).
(20) The organizers have the right to investigate participating works. If participating entries include clearly identifiable people in it, the subjects in the entry have image rights; the participant must acquire user consent for image rights from the subjects in the entry. If the subject shot is not an adult, the parent or legal guardian must sign the user consent for image rights in person and it must also be submitted to the organizers. If the works shot is involved in any legal problems including copyright and image right problems, the photographer must handle iton their own and is not related to the organizers. Disputants will be disqualified and the prize will be cancelled for the winner.
(21) ASUS reserves the right for the final approvals, changes, modifications, and cancellations of the contents of this event for any outstanding issues; any changes in the event or prizes are subject to the announcement on this website without further notice. Participants will be regarded as having understood and agreed to follow all rules in these terms.
