Is it really necessary to reset the smartphone after updating it?

The phone will restart itself after the update is finished. It is not required factory reset the phone after. So far mine is working smoother now than when it was on Marshmallow.

My SIM toolkit did not disappear. They are no longer separate like before on Marshmallow which is nice.

Guys when ID Version is gonna get updates?

When u can release the update 7.0

But it can't any update with that in India

UI feels smoother buuuut... Apps issue right after the update. Many apps are not opening. Hope they resolve it soon.

this morning I already upgraded my ASUS Zenfone 3 5.2 it's android version from marshmallow to Nougat, so far, so good, I'd already do some test based on your comments here, camera, sim toolkit, gallery, but as a tip, make sure all your apps updated. games like mobile legends and nba live mobile will soon to be tested. I will post from time to time if there's something bothers me or changes/bugs/errors. And ohhh, I forgot, I received an android Upgrade suggestion just yesterday.
