Hi,

The Asus website says:
ASUS ZenPad 3S 10 comes with a high-capacity 5900mAh battery to keep the entertainment going. With Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 technology, ASUS ZenPad 3S 10 helps you to do more and wait less.
* Quick Charge 3.0 requires a certified 18W adaptor, which is sold separately.

However most people are saying that charging adapters like the Anker PowerPort+ USB Quick Charge 3.0 Adapter don't work.
These adaptors are on the list of approved quick charge 3 adaptors. However the same list does not show the Asus zenpad 3s 10 as being compatible.

Which is right? The Asus website or the Qualcomm website?

Can someone who knows (like a dev) please clear up which technology is being used and which compatible chargers we need to buy? I think only offering an Asus 31 euro charger (http://www.asus-ersatzteile.de/i ... -1265671215610.html) is a bit steep when some of us bought this tablet under the impression that our 3.0 adapters would work as advertised.

Can a dev also clear up if the Mediatek pumpexpress technology is what should have been advertised since these are the chipsets being used? Are these the adapters we need to buy?

The last question is what is the techology that is being used in the Asus quick charge 18w adapter in the above link?

+1 This is very frustrating.  I'm to the point I'm convinced this device cannot be quick charged at all, at least to the extent of QC 3.  IMO the clue is Asus didn't include a QC3 adapter with the zenpad.  You should expect to get the best charger (stock) bundled with the device, at least in my past experiences.

Some Amazon reviewers of the official Asus 18W chargers indicate it charges better than the stock charger, but others say no difference.
