Buying Zenfone 4 or Updating to Nougat?

Hello every Asus users,

I was wondering what should I do, buying a brand new Zenfone 4 and having just a few updates in a year ; or updating to Nougat through LineageOS ?

Buying a ZF 4, it will be recent.

I would suggest to upgrade to ZenFone 4. It has lots of improvements. And oh, all ZenFone 4 (and ZenFone 3 as well) will be having Android 8.0 Oreo OS.

Do you mean hardware improvements? My Zenfone 2 Selfie has a good hardware.
That's a pity that Asus doesn't update Zenfone 2s, isn't it?
