Zenfone 2 ZE551ML Marshamallow Update Rollout!!!

Marshmallow was good but  it has bugs.mobile is being struck for while

Once the ROM zip file has been uploaded, what are the next steps.  Anything special instructions/advise.  Thank you your time.

Ran an update on my Zenfone2 with the file download from the website listed above. After the update, I found it is still Android Version 5.0. Wondering what I did wrong here..

Same as the others, followed instructions and downloaded UL-Z00A-WW-4.21.40.134-user.zip to root>sdcard>download

There has been no "System Update File Detected" notification as mentioned in official guide found here http://www.asus.com/zentalk/ph/thread-98381-1-1.html

Current build number is WW-ASUS-Z00A-2.20.40.196

Any help would be appreciated.

You have to move the downloaded file to the root of internal storage. Then only it will be detected.

Can I update without factory resetting the device?

Its better if you reset the phone before you can install the MM update. make sure youre going from Lollipop to Marshmallow....

Checked system update but no m yet 

This is a Manual Update..  I have confirmed this recently today. There wont be a FOTA. you have to download the rom and perform a manual update.

There will be patch updates later on...but make sure you reset the device after installing the rom.
