Congratulations!

The Winners of the Contest are: Bagaria26mayank & Rsromit1

The Smartphone camera is actually a huge space to overlook even though it may seem real tiny. There's so much going on the inside that it would simply take us days to even comprehend its many components and their way of working. You'll be amazed to know how each component comes together to create a beautiful picture, there's so much of  algorithm going on within. All of which works together in a fraction of seconds, amazing right?

The Deep Trench Isolation Technology was one such component of the camera that really caught my attention, you'll know why!

How does DTI (Deep Trench Isolation) Technology contribute to smartphone cameras?

Higher sensor resolutions call for a large number of camera pixels within a confined space. Not only does it call for inconveneince but further leads to noise, pixelization of sensors when an image is captured.

Here's how DTI prevents this:

To avoid a possible leakage between photodiodes (helps convert light into current), trenches are fit amongst the photodiodes, they are always filled with an insulating material to curb electric current. This makes way for light into the circuit, although once it makes its way into the photodiode, the rushing light would be forced to stay right there. This further helps with a clean and sharp image once clicked.

Below is an example to help you understand the importance of the DTI Technology in smartphone cameras!

DTI helps prevent the bleeding of light photons from one Pixel to another. Having taken care of this bit, Zenfone 3 delivers clear, sharp and beautiful images

To Help you understand how much ASUS has progressed over the years especially through Zenfone 3, here's a little comparison study we've taken up.

What we've done here is, compared 9 different Zenfone models with Zenfone 3 to help you understand what DTI Technology could do to your images. Available solely on Zenfone 3, photography will never feel the same. You'll experience and see so much of what a DSLR offers!

We've compared the following models with Zenfone 3: Zenfone 2, 4, 5, 6, Laser, Max, Selfie & Zoom!

Color Test

Purpose of this Test: Is to understand which device delivers the right color tone with sufficient sharpness!

We've put to test the colors delivered through each unit. If you notice here, Zenfone 3 delivers balanced color tones with the right amount of light along with sufficient contrast and sharpness.

When zoomed in, this is what the image looks like! Zenfone 3 confirms a definite sharpness the other devices lack. Unlike the other phones, the Zenfone image captures no grains and instead processes a sharp photo.

Skin Tone Test

Purpose of this Test: Is to help you understand which Zenfone delivers the right skin tone.

You'll be glad to know that through the DTI Technology, not only does Zenfone 3 process the right skin tone but also delivers an image that looks true to life, ensures a sharper image and certainly does not pixelate the image in the bargain. Fair enough?

Zoom In Test
Purpose of this Test: Is to understand which device handles Pixelation the best when zoomed in completely!

Compare Zenfone 4.jpg
compare zenfone 5.jpg
compare zenfone 6.jpg
compare zenfone laser.jpg
compare zenfone max.jpg
compare zenfone selfie.jpg
compare zenfone zoom.jpg

Through this test, you'll notice clearly how well Zenfone 3 stands a zoomed in capture

Low Light Test
Purpose of this Test: To understand which device performs the best under Low light and which phone handles a Zoom In, best under such conditions!

While the first image marks the original, the second is a slight Zoom In and the third is a complete Zoom In. Unlike most Zenfone devices that seem pixelated/grainy (third image), the Zenfone 3 does quite a good job in Low Light through the DTI Technology.

The above tests certainly prove that Zenfone 3 makes a great phone to invest in, not because it comes with a great camera but because it comes with the finest technology a smartphone can offer. Crafted through absolute precision, ASUS has put together a beautiful piece of work, one we'd guarantee that would steal absolute attention!

Camera is no more just a tool for capturing memories now days! People now have adopted mobile phone camera as a tool of product photography and sharing these images with clients to get orders and most of the times under vague lighting conditions. Considering that Color hold to be the most important factor, and must be supported by low light enhancement to make it simple.

For me colour test is the best one.  Because being a photographer you have to show to audience what you see with your eyes with the help of your lens.. So if you don't get the colours which you see with your eyes there is no meaning of your picture. But  zenfone 3 stands out of all as it gives the natural colour which we see with our eye's  so we can show our audience what we experience and not any faded or different colours..  Because colour makes a picture looks good...

Color is the most important factor according to me. As each color has many shades, phones without DTI technology may lose out on those shades due to leakage of light. However, due to the presence of DTI, the Zenfone 3 captures every shade. Moreover, the pictures on Zenfone 3 is much sharper, even when zoomed in.

I choose color test because sometimes we need actual color in some special photography like ( outside photography ) any festival lights and also heritage place photography so I think its perfect Zenfone 3 Camera to catch actual color....

I like all the four tests. Please to know that Deep Trench Isolation can also helps to produce quality pictures through the Zenfone 3's camera.

Color helps us to feel every pixel, pixels creats the natural Skin Tone, that great picture helps us to explore it's every inch while Zoomed-In and even in Low Light, we can get those classic images.

All the Zenfone's performed well in the above tests and the latest one wins the race.

I Selected the feature of Zoom Test, because i found this was the best feature that was different from rest versions of Zenfone.
As it handle the most pixelation when completely Zoom In .And it can be seen clearly in the pic.

Personally i liked the Color and Skin Tone test on the ZenFone 3 the best.
Because, i think so that a perfect click is all about color deliverance, and it happens when the real colors are shown off.
Clearly, ZenFone 3 camera is capturing the true colors without any flaws, which makes it superior than others.
