Zenfone 3 - ZE520KL - Tech Specs and Overview

Hey guys,
I am back here after doing the Unboxing of the Zenfone 3 and now let me tell you all the Tech Specs of the device and do the Overview.

Device Body - The Dimensions of the Zenfone 3 (ZE520KL) are 146.9 x 74 x 7.7 mm (5.78 x 2.91 x 0.30 in), it weighs 144 gm feels light and premium but it's very slippery because of the both side 2.5D curved glass, it's a dual sim phone that has a Nano (Hybrid Dual Sim Slot) and it comes in Sapphire Black, Moonlight White and Shimmer Gold Colours.

Display - It features a 5.2 inch, Super IPS+ capacitive touchscreen of 600 nits brightness, 1920 x 1080p full HD resolution and 424 ppi display and it has a 75.6% Screen to Body Ratio and it is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 on both of the sides (Front / Back).

Camera - It has a 8 MP, f/2.0 camera on the front and 16 MP, f/2.0, Sony IMX298 camera sensor at the Back with Laser Focus, PDAF, 4-axis OIS and Dual Tone LED Flash. It can record 4k 2160p video @30fps and Full HD 1080p video @30fps. It can also record Slow motion videos but the frame rate of slo-mo video is not specified anywhere.

System Configuration - It runs on Android OS, v6.0.1 (Marshmallow) with Zen UI 3.0, it comes in two storage variants of 32 GB internal storage with 3 GB RAM and 64 GB internal storage with 4 GB RAM and it can be expanded upto 256 GB via the micro SD card but it uses the second sim slot. The Chipset used here is Qualcomm MSM8953 Snapdragon 625 which is an Octa-core CPU processor and is clocked at 2.0 GHz and the GPU used here is a Adreno 506 for Gaming.

Sound - It has a 3.5 mm Audio Jack for your headphones and it has a Mono Speaker for the audio output but it is really loud.

Connectivity - It has Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, A-GPS, Glonass, BeiDou, Radio, USB Type C v2.0 for connectivity

Sensors - It has all the basic sensors like Accelerometer, Fingerprint, Gyro, Compass, Proximity, Ambient Light, LED notification Light but it lacks the NFC.

Battery - It has a 2650 mAh and 3000 mAh Lithium-ion battery Non Removable on the 5.2" (ZE520KL) and 5.5" (ZE552KL) variants respectively and it took me around 2 hrs to charge it from 0 to 100%.

• On the front it has a 5.2" Screen, Earpiece/Reciever, Proximity Sensor, LED Notification Light, Ambient Light Sensor and Navigation Keys.
  

• At the back it has a 16MP Camera, Laser Focus, PDAF, Dual Tone LED Flash, Finger Print Sensor and the ASUS Branding.
  

• On the Left side, it has Hybrid SIM Slot.
  

• On the Right Side, it has Volume and Power Keys.
  

• At the Top, it has the 3.5mm audio jack and the Primary Mic.
  

• At the Bottom, it has USB Type C Port, Speaker and the Secondary Mic.
  

• The Hybrid SIM Slot can take either 2 SIMs or 1 SIM + a Micro SD card at a time.
  

• The Power Adapter (Charger) of the Zenfone 3 is little smaller as compared to the one I have with Zenfone 2.
