Asus ZenFone 3 Max
Software and UI Customization:- ZenFone 3 Max is running on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow on top of ZenUI 3.0 which makes it different from Stock Android. The user interface is very smooth and have many customizable options.
The ZenUI software skin is highly customizable and can be tweaked according to the user.
Notification bar:- When swipe down single time on screen it will open notification bar and if you again swipe it down you will enter in Quick toggles. these toggles are also cusomizable by user.
These toggles can be arrange by users If you swipe up/ hold the for second you will get launcher setting. Where we can find these options which helps us make ZenFone more customizable.
1. Apps& widgets- for adding apps to home screen.
2. Home Edit - This can also be achieved by zooming in in home screen.
You can remove the screen, adjust the icon size accordingly, change the font, font color, font size and many more. .
3. Wallpapers- You can select wallpaper from gallary and also downloads from the Asus You can select from these and also if you can share your own creation too.
4. Icon packs- You can also go to icon packs from the wallpapers option too. You can select from many icon packs. But if you are not satisfied you can search Google Play store for the same.
5. ZenUI Theme- You can also open themes via Dedicated theme app from the menu or from the settings.
This is how the app looks you can search from it. and manage your downloaded themes There's an entire new DIY kit to customize the themes here. Now you can create your own theme first select the wallpaper then change the color combination accordingly
6. Lock apps- You can lock apps using it. You can also open this option from home menu. You can manage App Lock Settings from Preferences. When you first time setup it will ask to create pin/pattern and then security q. in case you forgot the password then you can select apps to lock.
7. Preferences- You can customize launcher settings from here. Parralax effect - This is among my favourite feature of the ZenUI 3.0. In this feature, when you are on homescreen, the wallpaper moves along with the Motion Sensor Though this feature was introduced with the ZenUI 3.0 . To enable this feature, Go to 'Wallpapers' > Select the walpaper
Also ensure that you've enabled the parallax effect.

You can also select Motion effect option while selecting the wallpaper. 8. System Settings- You can directly go from here.
ZenUI Apps- These are the all ZenUI apps present on ZenFone 3 Max(missing Asus Cover, SuperNote, Asus Music app) ZenUI 3.0 apps UI Design looks cool. I don't see the significance of having both Myasus app and ZenFone Care app they can be combined. System Update app we can check for update from the Settings> about> System update then why we need that there also when you open settings there is option for System Updates but why??
New features beside parallax Effect. 1. Mobile Manager- Mobile Manager lets you manage your ZenFone through one app. You can check your data usage,change apps permission, monitor notifications from apps and many more.
2. FingerPrint Sensor- In ZenFone 3 LineUp all phones have fingerprint sensor,which not only used for unlocking device even we can use it for taking selfies, launching camera and answering incoming calls.
3. Clock And Wheather app Animation- This allow you to know wheather conditon on the lock screen without unlocking the phone.Wheather animation looks cool.
You can enable this option from the Settings>Lock screen Settings
4. Game Genie- This is the biggest addition in ZenUI 3.0 and using Game Genie you can record your game also live stream them on Youtube and twitch.
You boost the ram for game to work smoothly You can live stream your game also record your game in storage. When you got stuck in middle of the game just search using this. You can add your account for live streaming. You can change between front camera recording and a Icon here's recorded video-
5. Camera UI- Now PixelMaster uses TriTech Technology for fast focusing combining Phase Detection autofocus, Laser autofocus and Continous autofocus. There are many modes from which we can choose. Guide
ZenUI's general style and other functioning remains the same. And the system of keeping key apps separately from the interface allows stock apps to be updated individually withou forcing larger system updates. This keeps things efficient.
