ZenFone 3 Max Performance and Battery Tests

Battery Test:-

I made the video for charging ZenFone 3 Max in Switch off condition

1. So phone charged 0% to 100% in 2Hrs 42 mins

2. I started charging at 10:30AM to 01:12PM

3. Phone charges first 40% in 1 Hr.

3. Next 40% in approx 1 Hr.

4. Remaining 20% in 42 mins.

5. Same result when charged it in switch on condition.

As ZenFone Max series is known for its battery  I performed the test between Zenfone 3 max and Redmi Note 3 (having same battery)

This was very tough to make. first time when i performed this test storage got full in ZF5 so i had to do test second time with 5 second intervel in time lapse video recording then battery died also power bank

So finally i got this right.

In this video:-

1. Both phones were fully charged and battery saver off.

2. Full brightness (auto brightness off)

3. Used MX player

4. Same full HD video

Result- ZenFone 3 Max Won

I was not able to take screenshot from ZenFone 3 Max and Redmi Note 3

Redmi Note 3 switched off at 11:35AM (01:45AM-11:35AM) - 9Hrs and 50 mins SOT

ZenFone 3 Max Switched off at 01:05PM(01:45AM-01:05PM) - 11Hrs and 20 mins SOT accordingly.

Performance Test:-

Boot time test:-

Boot time test between ZenFone 3 Max(SD430) and Redmi Note 3(SD650).

I pressed power botton same time in both phones. ZenFone 3 Max respond faster also in loading ZenFone 3 Max was fast.

Speed Test:-

Speed test between ZenFone 3(SD430 3GB/32Gb) Max and Redmi Note 3(SD650 3GB/32GB)

I was not able to merge these to video so posted both here

Test was in two parts

First Performance Test

Second Ram Management Test.

I opened- Subway Surf, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, Gmail, Youtube, Temple Run 2, N.O.V.A. 3,

System apps- Dialer, Messenger, Browser and Camera.

Redmi Note 3 took 2 seconds(minor difference) lead in performance test but overall it failed to Compete with ZenFone 3 Max.

Time taken by RN3

ZenFone 3 Ram Management is much better.

Time taken by ZF3 Max

Gaming Performance:-

1. Subway Surf-

2. Temple Run 2-

3. Limbo-

Now Towards high graphics games

4. Asphalt 8-

5. N.O.V.A. 3-

6. Injustice-

Result-

1.When i was playing Subway Surf there was small lag while changing side.

2. In Temple Run 2 faced lag in starting when game started.

3. Limbo smooth play no lag at all.

4. Asphalt 8 smooth in game play.

5. N.O.V.A. 3 smooth in game play but takes more time while loading next chapter.

6. Injustice took much time to load but then game play was smooth.

So I can clearly say that phone is perfect in every department. Performance is also good. So Benchmark scores just give us idea but real performance can be different  RN3 Antutu score is 75000+ but ZenFone 3 Max defeated it in all the task i performed.
